Jonathan Levi is an accomplished applied mathematician and cryptographer, who specializes in building large scale quantitative systems. He is the founder and CEO of HACERA, a blockchain, security and privacy technology focused company, who also launched the world’s first production multi-cloud deployment of Hyperledger Fabric, to fuel the Unbounded Network. Jonathan was the release manager of Fabric 1.0 in 2017, and has been a contributor to Hyperledger Fabric from its early days in 2016.
Prior to working on decentralized systems, open source software and working on his own company, Jonathan spent almost a decade in the financial services industry. He has worked at Standard & Poor’s, Barclay’s Capital and Goldman Sachs.
Jonathan studied Applied Mathematics at Stanford University, California and computer science and cryptography at the Weizmann Institute of Science and Bar-Ilan University in Israel.
